Crystal clear copper body with a small off-white head. Heavy grainy and grassy hop aroma with light caramel. Grainy flavor, light grassy and some floral hops. Medium body with moderate carbonation and a grainy finish.

Bottle courtesy CigarCityBrew. Pours a slightly hazy copper with a very large off-white head that leaves some lacing. Aroma of light fruit, pale malt, and spicy yeast. Taste is the same as aroma. Medium thin mouthfeel with a mild amount of bitterness and very high carbonation. Decent.

22 oz. bottle. Clear copper, fleeting, small white head, no lace. Grainy aroma, some light stone fruit, and a distant floral character. Slightly watery, very little carbonation. Lightly sweet fruit flavors continue into the finish, which kind of washes out.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 dmac (3174) - Toms River, New Jersey, USA - DEC 18, 2007
Bottle shared at Madness. Pours a good looking reddish copper with an average size frothy white head, that is probably the best thing I can say about this beer. Musty aroma with hints of caramel and spice. Flavor follows suit with lots of mustiness and carboard flavors. My suggestion would be to dip some cardboard strips in Chimay blue and eat them. It will have more flavor and alcohol and probably get you some fiber in your diet as well.
2.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 SuzyGreenberg (1603) - Seattle, Washington, USA - DEC 17, 2010
Bomber; pours glowing orange with bubbly white and plenty of carbonation; sharp lemon and dusty spice on the nose; certainly has a sharpness to it with the orange and lemon peel; drinks very fizzy and way over carbonated that just explodes going down; spicy pepper, lemons and a little funk to it; a little coriander too with sharp lemon peels and a little yeast; the over carbonation makes this basically undrinkable; so fizzy in the mouth that it’s hard to taste anything besides a little lemon and dry malt; doesn’t taste too infected, but the over carbonation is obvious and there is a little slight sour flavor

banana bread yeasty plastic okayness flow from this run of the mill brew. Like the buckeyes BCS game, ’it could have been worse, but I wanted better

Pours a clear copper/amber with very little head but definite lacing. Aroma is floral, yeast and grass. Flavor is of yeast and biscuits. very mild. I don’t taste much fruit, just subtle biscuit-like flavors. A decent pale ale but really nothing at all amazing.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 alagnak (467) - Littleton, Colorado, USA - SEP 9, 2009
A gusher...nose is nice wheat, hay and a nice yeasty mustiness. Flavor is heavy vegetal maltiness with a lot of sweetness and an overrriding babyfood taste. The Malt asaults on the palate and very little bitter/spicy/sour to balance. Cold, it’s OK, as it warms, the sweetness and vegetable profile is overwhelming.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20 marchcow (664) - Coralville, Iowa, USA - JAN 19, 2009
Bright aromas with scent of medium roasted malt and dried fruits. Orange brown color with little to no head. Roasted malty flavors with some fruity notes and orange peel. Slight burnt toast flavor. Thin palate with weak duration. Lightly bitter. Aroma and flavors are good but appearance and palate are weak. Bottle may be old but it sounds like this beer is pretty unpredictable.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 incutrav (577) - Woodbury, Minnesota, USA - JAN 22, 2007
UPDATED: MAR 12, 2007 Had at Winterfest as well. Smooth going down, but really just nothing to special that stood out to me, pretty standard pale ale. I want to like it more, as I love the local scene but I think Flat Earth will need to come up with some better beer then this if they want to stay afloat in this market, especially with Surly and Summit to compete against. Dont get me wrong though, once they start bottling this, im sure i would buy it...UPDATE" had this on tap at the happy gnome, and i still am not a fan of this. tastes way to much like a hefeweizen, which im not a huge fan of in general, probably a good beer for the style, but i deff. dont like this style brew
