Had this at the 2013 Beer Dabbler in Saint Paul. This was a nice surprise from Flat Earth at the Dabbler. Solid in flavor and texture. Overall a great beer profile.

On tap at SPSBF. Pours clear dark brown with a brown head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a lot of graham cracker with a nice chocolate note and hints of marshmallow and roasted malts. Flavor get more of a dark chocolate note with some roasted malts and an underlying graham cracker and a hint of marshmallow sweetness. Really reminds me of s’mores.

Growler. Pours black with a thin light tan head. Aroma of lots of chocolate, some peanut butter, lots of graham cracker, and perhaps a hint of marshmallow if you’re searching for it. Flavor is very rich in chocolate, lots of sweet malty notes, sweet sugary marshmallow (the sweetness is a bit odd at first and almost seems artificial, until you realize it’s the marshmallow), and a hint of smores in the finish. Could be more intense smores-wise (especially the graham cracker notes, which are missing from the flavor), but overall it was pretty good. 7/4/7/4/15 [3.7/5]

Cask at St. Paul summer beer fest. Fantastic stuff. Just like smores at q camp fire. black pour with burnt marshmallow aroma and chocolate notes. Nole carbonation and a nice sweet finish. Was a great beer.

Growler @ Exira Beer Summit II, courtesy of bnielsen13. Thanks Brad! Deep brown/black appearance with a light brown head. Rich dessert aroma- milk chocolate, vanilla, marshmallows. Heavenly aroma. Pretty thin body. Rich chocolate, slightly tangy malty flavor with some cocoa, vanilla, and light espresso.

Firkin Fest 2011. Almost like a mild, but this has the great palate that I expect from Flat Earth porters. Roasted grain in the flavor and aroma and no significant hops. Light chocolate. Very smooth palate. Black beer, low carbonation.

LCSB 2010. Growler. Brown pour. Off white head. This one is 100% cocoa puff or cocoa pebbles. Pure and simple it smelled like them and tasted like them. Good shit if you like chocolate!

Pours deep brown/black with off white head, aroma is chocolate, marshmellow, and graham cracker...exactly like a s’more. Taste is awesome, nice creamy mouthfeel and it tastes like a liquid s’more. Not sure how they did it, but a great brew!
