Bottled - tasted blind. A red-brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet and very malty combined with notes of roasted malt and chocolate as well as lighter notes of coffee. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of chocolate as well as medium notes of coffee, leading to a dry roasted finish which also has a hint of acidity from the roasted malt.

Medium body with sweetish roasted malt and fruit combined also with yeast and a burned, lightly ashy edge. Dry and lightly malt bitter finish with some alcohol showing. 260708

From bottle #2 at sk8vikings American blind tasting. Pours dark brown with a small level of yeast sediments and a huge, lasting and light tan head. Spiced and roasted malt aroma. Flavour is malty and spiced. Dry. Roasted and spiced finish. Lingering malty and more of the same smoothness into the finish. Nice how the spiced flavour diminishes compared to the malt base flavour.

Medium brown. Lots of toast and cocoa. There’s a hint of sweetness but it’s syrupy. Some cocoa and nut but nothing particularly inventive.
