Brewso (236), Minnetonka, Minnesota, USA Sep 11, 2007 Enjoyed at Great Waters just before the Rush Concert. This is a very flavorful porter with lots of chocolate and roast balanced by a significant hop bite. Thin mouthfeel. I match the obscure Rush song title of this beer by asking the obscure question: which Cygnus? Farewell to Kings or Hemispheres?

A red-brown beer with a lazing brown head. The aroma is sweet and very malty combined with notes of roasted malt and chocolate as well as lighter notes of coffee. The flavor is sweet malty with strong notes of chocolate as well as medium notes of coffee, leading to a dry roasted finish which also has a hint of acidity from the roasted malt.
