3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 BeerKurve (232) - - MAR 31, 2013
Dark Orange with a slightly Orange Head. The pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg flavors blend together nicely and comes off as subtle. My only complaint about this beer is that the palate is has a stronger-than-necessary carbonation threshold.

This is at least in the same ballpark as the great pumpkin beers like Pumking...

Bottle. Pours orange with tons of carbonation. Taste like pumpkin flavored soda water. Not good at all.
3.5 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 zeke626 (398) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - OCT 31, 2012
Bottle, pours a clear, orange-amber body with off-white head. Aroma is mainly pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices - nutmeg and clove. The taste has much less pumpkin than the aroma indicates. It’s still there, along with the spices and green hops and caramel malts. The hops are strong enough that the flavor is bitter rather than sweet. Palate is lively and fizzy albeit a little dry, and the body is a tad on the light side. Light bitter hop finish.
3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Trev (1674) - Lakeville, Minnesota, USA - OCT 26, 2012
bottle: Amber pour with a medium off white head.
Aroma is pumpkin pie filling wrapped in caramel maltiness.
Body is a bit thin
woody lemony bitterness followed by nutty roasted malt and pumpkin. Finishing a bit watery with lingering clove and cinnamon.
3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Nsanders (257) - St Paul, Minnesota, USA - OCT 21, 2012
Medium orange with a thin white head. Aromas are strong on the spices: nutmeg, mace, and cinnamon with a lemon note. The flavor is plain though, it would be better if it were sweeter. Lighter bodied. I had high hopes for this one given flat earth’s other beers and my like of fall/pumpkin, but it was too one dimensional.

Light brown color, foam disappears quickly. Delicious pumpkin pie aroma, banana, nutmeg, clove. Brown ale profile with cinnamon, nutmeg spice, slightly bitter finish. Thin. Not an everyday choice but quite pleasant holiday beer.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 vikingguy (629) - Chaska, Minnesota, USA - SEP 21, 2012
Chestnut in color with foamy off-white head. Vegetal aroma. Taste is pumpkin, pie crust, and cinnamon. A pretty average pumpkin beer. Good but not great.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 Guerde (1077) - St. Paul, Minnesota, USA - SEP 19, 2012
(bottle) Pours a clear dark amber color with a very thin ring of white for a head. The aroma smells as if I’ve opened a bottle of pre-mixed McCormick pie spice and jammed a teaspoonful into each of my nostrils. It’s an utterly offensive spice-laden assault on my olfactory bulb, that’s eerily reminiscent of a Yankee candle housed at Bath and Body in mid-October. Nothing else is indicative of pumpkin here, but if they were going for an apple cider vibe, they’ve certainly achieved that in spades. The flavor is a thinned-out, watery, and spice dominated coupling of cinnamon, allspice, and nutmeg, and only at the very end is there any indication of pumpkin. The finish yields a strange pairing of odd biscuit malt with just a faint glimmer of pumpkin that transitions to husky roasted pumpkin seed. The mouthfeel is thin and the carbonation is spritzy. Overall this needs the pumpkin amped up and the spice toned way down in order to achieve a modicum of success towards a respectable pumpkin beer.
3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 5000 (5000) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAY 12, 2012
Bottle:   Deep amber, slight garnet hue, moderate sandy head, light lacing.   Nice autumn/pumpkin like spices, lots of all-spice and clove.   Spices show up front, backside is a little tart.   Could be age?   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Soft pumpkin like spices linger, but overshadowed by the tartness of the beer.   Smells great, starts great, but turns a little south too quick. Going to toss this up to age given its an Autumn seasonal.   Still tasty tho.   Thanks for the bottle Bob!
