Bottle. Pours orange with tons of carbonation. Taste like pumpkin flavored soda water. Not good at all.

Bottle share @ Surly Darkness day 2013. Pour is clear orange with a minimal off-white head. Aroma is of pumpkin seeds, biscuit, and nutmeg. Flavor is similar with some vanilla extract and cinnamon added.

Bomber poured a clear reddish amber with a small lasting amber head. Aromas of caramel, cinnamon, clove, allspice, mace and light pumpkin. Palate was medium bodied and smooth. Flavors of caramel, cinnamon, mace, light clove and light pumpkin with a smooth lingering spiced finish.

Suprised by poor reviews. If you enjoy pumpkin beers, this one is solid. Nice spices and good balance between sweetness and bitterness. Step below pumpking but still worth a try

Tasting at brewery. Aroma is pumpkins, with cinnamon and other related spices. Taste is pumpkin pie as expected, but it’s pretty reserved. This leaves it feeling thin, but I personally prefer pumpkin flavor in a reserved dose like this. A good special occasion light autumn seasonal.

Bottle from Blue Max, aroma is pumpkin and some nutmeg. Taste is watered down pumpkin with copper, mouth feel of water, like pumpkin flavored water. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Dark Orange with a slightly Orange Head. The pumpkin, cinnamon, and nutmeg flavors blend together nicely and comes off as subtle. My only complaint about this beer is that the palate is has a stronger-than-necessary carbonation threshold.

This is at least in the same ballpark as the great pumpkin beers like Pumking...

Bottle, pours a clear, orange-amber body with off-white head. Aroma is mainly pumpkin and pumpkin pie spices - nutmeg and clove. The taste has much less pumpkin than the aroma indicates. It’s still there, along with the spices and green hops and caramel malts. The hops are strong enough that the flavor is bitter rather than sweet. Palate is lively and fizzy albeit a little dry, and the body is a tad on the light side. Light bitter hop finish.

bottle: Amber pour with a medium off white head. Aroma is pumpkin pie filling wrapped in caramel maltiness. Body is a bit thin woody lemony bitterness followed by nutty roasted malt and pumpkin. Finishing a bit watery with lingering clove and cinnamon.
