3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Tap. Pour is brown with a hint of red and a thin white head. Aroma of bread, earth, caramel, hint of decomposing something... peat? Taste is sweet. Slight tongue bite from the CO2.

Slightly metallic flavor to the bitterness. A nice dark red color. I'm not a huge Irish red fan but I like this.

3.2 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle. Deep reddish orange color. Fizzy with a decent lingering head as the beer goes down. Flavor is mild, malt forward. Slight sweetness in between with a floral hop finish. Easy drinking, goes down pretty well.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle @ home, courtesy of bnielsen13. Thanks Brad! Deep red-brown appearance with a tan head. Rich toffee, lots of caramelized sugars, toasty nutty aroma. A bit of dark fruits, dark toffee, dark caramel malty, hazelnutty, light vanilla flavor. Almost like a nut brown. Pretty nice brew.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Date: January 24, 2012 Mode: Bottle Source: BVery via BlueMax Description: Reddish orangish brownish pour with minimal head. Aroma is spicy hop, malt, nutty, and occasionally something funky like rotten vegetable creeps out. Taste wasn’t bad, but not amazingly good either. Not getting the EPA style, more of a Red Ale, but whatever.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Clear reddish brown pour with a smaller foamy white head. Kind of a funky nose - bready, earthy, and some hop. Some sort of rotten vegetal bit on the aroma as well. Medium palate. Taste is caramel, bread, and a bit funky as well. Interesting...and good.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle to glass. Awesome aroma. Wonderfully malty. Lots of nuttiness, some bready notes. Some caramel malts also. Not to mention a toasty sweetness. Very enjoyable. Dark copper-brown pour with off white head. Nice sweet taste with a nutty aftertaste. Really enjoyable. Another great offering from flat earth.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
There is no way this is an English pale ale. first, it is not way pale at all. Secondly, bitter fits much better. All malt, and no hop presence. Bread dough and grain. Full palate. Some caramel. Someone please reclassify this, as there is really no perceivable English hop character.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
22 oz. bottle courtesy of a trade with Atom. My first beer from this brewer! Pours a clear coppery red with a moderate tan head that faded to a ring at about mid-glass and left partial lace. Pleasant aroma of malt, toffee, and dried leaves. The flavor is malt and fairly dry with no sweetness at all. Mild -moderate bitterness at the finish. Solid ale.
