Bottle @ The BeerMongers... Poured jet black with a khaki head. Nose had faint roasted malts. Syrupy mouthfeel, low carbonation. Clean yeast flavor, cocoa, thin malt sweetness. Black pepper spice. Not a whole lot of flavor, an easy drinking dark beer.

Licorice, a semi-funky gas, cake flour--with aromas like that who knows what’snext. the khaki head last a little bit, lacing, body too dark brown to see through, a mix of dark sour and hopo sour/tingle, molasses & alcohol, a little salt. this is a strange brew. quickly warming. not as sweet or smooth as other Baltics I’ve had.
