3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. Dark brown pour with a lighter brown head and very little lacing or retention. Aroma is faint, a little pumpkin, roast and nutmeg but mostly nondescript smell wise. Thereís more pumpkin in the taste, with roast, cinnamon and nutmeg, but nothing really stands out here and itís very thin for a stout. Not really my jam, give me Oakshire Big Black Jack any day over this one.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle:   Nearly black, moderate sudsy tan head, dies quickly, spotty lacing.   Soft pumpkin like spices up front, a little nutty, with very faint roasted malt notes.   Faint spices up front, nutty, very minor tartness, a little lactose, followed by some even softer roasted malts.   Not a big beer, the spices come and go quickly, and the strength of the Stout itself is soft.   However, despite the stout being on the light side, the lighter side of these flavors keep it well balanced.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   This could easily pass off as a Pumpkin Porter as well.   Soft cinnamon and nutmeg spices linger, as well as some tart nuttiness.   Enjoyable as it wasnít unbalanced or over the top.

3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle... Poured pitch black with a thin forming, light khaki head. Dissipated immediately. Nose had roasted grains with faint trace of sweet squash. Nothing super dominant with pumpkin flavor, just a bit of an additive flavor to aid with the roasted malts and sweetness of the brew. Some pumpkin pie spices, baking spices, dark chocolate, and espresso. Low carbonation, a hint of a fizzy feel on the palate. Sweet fruity esters and some pumpkin in the finish.
