COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
This classic Northwest IPA is characterized by its BIG hop flavor. Chinook, Cascade, Willamette and Centennial hops are packed into the kettle to balance and compliment the Vienna and Munich malts that we use in the mash.

Had this at the Horse Brass blind IPA tasting, Portland, OR - Pale orange. Very malty until the finish, nose and mouth, very mentholy, tongue numbing bitterness. Bleh.

On tap at the brewpub. Brewer informed me that the name has been changed to ’Rough Cut IPA’. Citrus up front with a sweet malty background. A bit weak. Mild bitter finish.

Medium nose of citrus and floral hops, hints of caramel, bread, toast. Lightly tropical. The nose is not super assertive, but nice. Pours golden amber, thin head. The flavor starts with medium fruity hops, citrus, floral notes, lightly sweet toasty malts, floral, tangerine, orangey finish. Easy to drink, not super assertive, but balanced and well made.
