Pours cloudy golden with a huge off-white head and a citrus and toffee aroma. There is a medium-bodied pale malt flavor with a moderately bitter finish. Very refreshing and easy to drink.

Enjoyed in a joint rating with Strykzone of FAcebook Chat. Poure a clear golden color with a large long lasting white head and excellent lacing. Nose of citrus hops with resin. Medium in body. Lively well carbonated mouthfeel. The flavor is strong and well balanced. Nice bitter finish. A really easy to drink and tasty APA. f
3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 17/20 Strykzone (3814) - Wood River, Illinois, USA - JUL 11, 2012
Bomber from Hayduke. We enjoyed it together via facebook chat. This beer wore a big lightly golden hued head that lasted a long time. The beer is lightly hazy honey golden and lots of carbonation floated up. The hops are the story here. They are citrus and offer mild steady bitterness. Caramel is lighter but added sweetness. This Pale Ale was well done. It didn’t try to do too much and what it tried to do it did well.
3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 boFNjackson (3580) - Portland, Oregon, USA - JUL 1, 2012
Bottle... Poured hazy, amber/orange with a thick, frothy white head. Nice, mellow drinking pale. Mild carbonation, soft mouthfeel. Pine-like, black pepper spiced hops flavors, citrus, and bready malts for balance. Low bitterness.
4.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 17/20 bhensonb (8997) - Woodland, California, USA - JUN 15, 2012
Bomber from PC Market of Choice in Ashland, OR. Pours light orange gold with a minimal white head. Well, now, the aroma is not so subtle cat pee. Full bodied with very frothy carb. The flavor is cat pee that is refined. Over a bit of caramel backbone. But the cat pee aspect is amazing. Fortunately I do have a backup bomber. The finish is so hoppy. I’d like to write citrus, and probably should, but cat pee just seems so damn appropriate. These guys nailed a great beer.
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Reid (1602) - Salem,Oregon, Oregon, USA - JUN 3, 2012
22 oz bottle from Roths Sunnyslope store on S Liberty Salem.
$4.59
Nice clear golden ale with a large frothy, rocky white head.
Spicy hop aromas..maybe some resiny in there too.,some pper and some nuts also.
For all that stuff squeezed into here this certainly is a well balanced APA, noting overwhelms but nothing stands out except perhaps the hot pepperiness of what i assume is the Rye..that comes through a the end and is pleasing.
Nice mouthfeel to this one, lowish carbonation works well.
Overall a nice balanced beer with a hint of pepper that pleases
3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20 riversideAK (5413) - Shoreline, Washington, USA - MAY 4, 2012
Sulfur grain rye citrus nose. Hazy orange golden thin head. Citrusy grain a little rye. Light centennial hop flavor. Kolsch yeast adds an interesting take on flavor. Im not too sure about this one.
2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Nikiel (790) - Portland, Oregon, USA - APR 16, 2012
Bottle with Carla. Pours a very slightly hazy light gold with almost no light foam. Smells sweet and bitter with hints of lemongrass and grass. Tastes of hops and rye with hints of bark.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 bvc (1103) - Kenmore, Washington, USA - MAR 29, 2012
Draft at flat tail. Clear light gold with white head and fairly sticky lacing. Very much lemon hop forward on the nose, citra?...description says cascade thought...really like it though. Piney, resinous fresh light lemon. Light crisp malt profile, hints of faint corn nuts. Crisp lemony hop, get the kolsch strain, pils malts...dig it.
3.4 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 5000 (4974) - Hardened Liver, Washington, USA - MAR 27, 2012
Bottle:   Golden, clear, large pillowy white head, very nice lacing.   A bit of an earthy hoppy aroma, very pale graininess and soil.   Hops on the tongue are of the resinious variety.   Fairly assertive Pale Ale, certainly hoppy but with a decent malt background.   A little more grainy than I like, but its not too strong.   Reminds me a bit of many organic type Pale Ales.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate.   Backside is very pithy.   This Pale Ale certainly has character, and feels fairly robust.   Not a whimpy one by any means.   Just wished it was a bit sweeter with less graininess.   Otherwise fairly enjoyable.
