Bottle. It pours an almost clear body, pale golden in color and with a dense, white head of finger-thick head. Sort of peppery in the aroma, with grassy and piney hints. Fruity, with little malts. It’s medium to thin bodied and pleasantly carbonated, quite dry. Fruity, grassy aroma with pine cones and pepper hints. Some bitterness notes. Mostly fruity finish. A refreshing and easy drinkable beer I wouldn’t mind repeating on a sunny day. 141219

22. Thanks, Melissa! Pours a clear and surprisingly toasty-looking medium gold. Loose white head. Big grassy nutty nose. Creamy light body with sparkling carb. Toast, nuts, and grass on the mid palate. Lots of flavor for the style and the abv. Crisp finish. Great kolsch.

Bottle:   Golden, fairly clear, hazy towards the end of the bottle, large fluffy white head, fairly nice lacing.   Sweet hay and straw on the nose, which translates onto the tongue.   Seems fairly crisp, flavorful, with a nice sweet straw/hay flavor profile.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Lingering straw and hay.   Nice pale maltiness.   I was really impressed with this one, simple, flavorful, and clean.
