22. Thanks, Melissa! Pours a clear and surprisingly toasty-looking medium gold. Loose white head. Big grassy nutty nose. Creamy light body with sparkling carb. Toast, nuts, and grass on the mid palate. Lots of flavor for the style and the abv. Crisp finish. Great kolsch.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle:   Golden, fairly clear, hazy towards the end of the bottle, large fluffy white head, fairly nice lacing.   Sweet hay and straw on the nose, which translates onto the tongue.   Seems fairly crisp, flavorful,
with a nice sweet straw/hay flavor profile.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Lingering straw and hay.   Nice pale maltiness.   I was really impressed with this one, simple, flavorful, and clean.

3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Nose is strongly grassy with notes of hay and some bready/grainy malt notes. Light fruity sweetness as well. Chill hazed golden, thin non lasting head. Flavor is grassy, medium sweet with light fruity aspects, hints of crisp bitterness, and light grainy malt. Easy to drink, not flawed, pleasant.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
(22oz bottle) Sampled at EskimoDave’s houseparty. Pours a near headless top with a clear grassy body. Nose is corn and lactic, minor grain. Very thin, corny and milky. Bland, not crisp... Not Kolsch like.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Bottle... Poured pale, straw, yellow with a white head. An ideal kolsh. Light, crisp, quenching with simple malt flavors and grassy tones. Decent carbonation allowing it to be lively on the palate.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
22 oz bomber courtesy of bvc. The pour is mostly clear yellow golden, with a three inch white head that falls rocky with a noisy crackling bubbles. The aroma is bready hay, cracker, light citrus, some herbal yeast character in the back. Soft, integrated and fresh. The taste is the bready malt, hay grass, herbal light lemon, finishes some more herbal sweet yeast spice. The palate is medium to light bodied, lower carbonation, lingering herbal. Overall, a tasty beer, though I would have liked a bit more crispness to the flavor and finish. Thanks Brandon.

3.4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottle. Cloud orange with thick white head. Bready, herby and floral aroma. Flavour drops off quickly, a little herb, a little spice and somewhat watery finish. Still worth drinking.

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Light golden amber. A very soft pilsner malt aroma, VERY soft. Hints of Shredded Wheat in there too. Some peppery hop bitterness and crisp clean and powdery pilsner malt flavours. The finish is pure creamy deliciousness. It’s puffy and light on the tongue. As perfect a Kolsch as I can remember quaffing.
