Pours super foamy, overflowing the glass, tons of head. The body is a clear straw color. The aroma is a nice sharp lemon zest smell. The taste is deep with lemon bitter and clean malt. The texture is crisp with soft edges and a good fizz. A nice and flavorful lager.

On tap at Red Zone. Pretty tasty drank it for a week or so of sports. Blazers beat some team. Lillard had 33 points. Niner’s won their last game at Candlestick against the Falcons. Good beer.

Well rounded and no menthol, which sends to be an issue with some of their other beers

Bottle. Colour...straw gold with a thick white head. Nose...husky, freshly cut hay and yeasty fresh bread. Palate...generously frothy with more cut hay as well as freshly baked biscuits, honey paste, beeswax and apple skins. A delightful kolsch worth trying

Pours crystal clear pale gold with a large white head. Decent retetion, minimal lace. Sweet corn aroma. Medium sweet, light bitter flavor. Light body, thin-oily texture, average carbonation, and a light bitter finish.

Bottle:   Golden, fairly clear, hazy towards the end of the bottle, large fluffy white head, fairly nice lacing.   Sweet hay and straw on the nose, which translates onto the tongue.   Seems fairly crisp, flavorful, with a nice sweet straw/hay flavor profile.   Body and mouthfeel are moderate to full.   Lingering straw and hay.   Nice pale maltiness.   I was really impressed with this one, simple, flavorful, and clean.

Draft at the brewery. Pours a golden straw color, aroma is light, sweet with a bit of biscuit malt. Light/medium body, slightly sweet. Not my favorite style, but well-done.

CapFlu (4548) - Victoria, British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 7, 2013
(22oz bottle) Sampled at EskimoDave’s houseparty. Pours a near headless top with a clear grassy body. Nose is corn and lactic, minor grain. Very thin, corny and milky. Bland, not crisp... Not Kolsch like.
