COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Our version is a dreamy cloudy glass of liquid gold. The aroma and flavor run complex:tart citrus, yeast, malty sweetness, apple, pear, white grape, alcohol warmth with a dry and spicy finish.

On tap at the brewpub in Missoula. Pours cloudy with a thin off-white head and a candi aroma. There is a very tasty toffee and fruit flavor with some banana ester and a lightly bitter finish. The candi sugar is prominent and there is a nice yeast presence.

Sample tray. Pale cloudy gold. Yeast and peach aroma. Warm yeasty flavour. Doesn’t quite hit the mark flavour-wise. Aftertaste has some peach and nectarine.

Had a sample in Missoula, then bought a growler. It was insanely hazy, it ended up settling out in my fridge. Poured hazy amber orange with a thin beige head. Aroma of cherry, raisin, gum, earth, plum, grainy bitter, tea leaf. Taste was yeasty with some sweet fruit and pungent herb. Light bitter finish.

Draft at the Missoula. Pours a clear pale gold with a dense and fizzy white head. Banana esters on the nose, with enough acidity in the aromatics to give it a bit of a green apple tinge as well. Creamy medium body, almost sticky but not quite. Banana, green apple, and a bit of peppery savory ester on the mid palate. Mild sweet finish.
