Cask at Night of the Living Ales. Dark brown with ruby streaks and a big-bubbled, small tan head. Roasted malt and caramel with a slight amount of hops in the nose. Chocolate and coffee, caramel, burnt grains and earthy noble hops. Smooth body with a full, rounded sensation. The flavor is pretty good, and even has a slight sour/tart kick to it. No sweetness at all and only a light hop bitterness at the very end. Seems like a pretty good porter, especially if the slight tart element was planned.
