Beautiful appearance with a very dark amber body. A nice off white head forms and leaves decent lacing. Very pleasant aroma of toasted malt, cocoa, and raisins. The brew is very smooth, but a bit weak on the palate. Fairly sweet flavor with the malt and nutiness taking center stage. Aftertaste a bit like tea. Very good beer.

Swing-top bottle 33cl. Clear dark amber, large frothy beige head, mostly lasting, good lacing; aroma roasted malts, caramel, brown sugar, bit soapy; taste light sweet and bitter, malty, medium body, watery texture, soft carbonation, aftertaste light sweetbitter, malty roastiness, hint of coffee; lacks depth and body, almost decent Dunkel.

330ml swing-top bottle pours almost black in color with a finger and a half of light beige head that leaves some spots of lacing as it settles. Aroma is caramel with light roasted grains and hints of dark fruits. Taste is a fruity and caramel malt sweetness with a light roasted grain and grassy hop bitterness. Light to medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A decent brew for the style that is a little too easy to drink, needing more body and bolder hops.

Flaska från Bottle shop, Köpenhamn. Gyllenbrun med fin skumpuck. Rostade aromer, jäst och lite honung. Brödig och jästig, måttlig sötma, lite houng, brödkryddor, järnspik och en lätt beska. Trevlig.

0,33l Flasche. Rötlich-braunes Bier mit schöner Schaumkrone. Minimal malziger Geruch, schmeckt überraschend gut nach Röstmalzen.

It foams nicely and smells good of malt. Light roasted malt tones blend with a little caramel and hop bitterness is a little too bland and anonymous. It had to have a more marked hop bitterness to smooth the burned malt notes which otherwise lingers long in the mouth. It is reasonable, but no more than that.

Bottle @ friends/don. Appearance: pours clear light brown with ok beige soapy head and lacing. aroma/taste: barley, caramel, and floral notes. palette medium light roasted malty aroma, low to average carbonation, light to medium body, average sweetness, not quite balanced by a light bitterness, medium duration and an oily texture. Overall: decent light dunkel
