Nice aroma. Malty, grainy and barley wine like. Nice amber body with a big frothy diminishing head. Malty, hoppy sweet aroma that leads into a dry finish. Nice nutty, caramely beer.

Aroma is malts and caramel nuttiness. The flavor is grainy malts and a caramel nuttiness similar to a caramel/nuts ice cream. Kind of bland but decent enough.

Bottle. Cool swing-top bottle, copper-amber pour with a white head. Nose is sweet malts and nut. Thinner to medium palate. Taste is very nutty, earth, and malt. I’m enjoying this.

Bottle. Malty and candy aromas. Pours dark copper, with tan head, some persistance and no lacing. Taste is sweet , caramel. Sweet finish. Average dunkel.

Flaska. Bärnstensfärgad med vitt, bubblande skum. I både smak och arom en del citrus, fast framför allt karamell. I smaken hittas både en sötma och en beska som kombineras ihop väl. Trevlig.

Radiant, fiery, russet copper with very fine carbonation. Head is loose, flaccid and sadly short-lived but leaves a good amount of lace. Quite a subtle nose but there is plenty in there; dusty cocoa, salted nuts, heather and earthy top soil and cracked, roasted grain. In the mouth it is woody and nutty with a soft biscuity malt base. Relatively dry aside light cola and toffee notes that build in the aftertaste, yet it is the nutty notes that overpower this. Ends up being a roasted peanut and almond bonanza. Good bounce, a racy, light mouthfeel sees it disappear with haste. A little too off-key to be truly enjoyable. (33cL, BB 22/05/12, Cellarbrations Carlisle)

Interesting brew. Pours a light cola colour. Dominating smell of wet grains. More massive malt flavours. Thin mouth feel. I wouldn’t have to try this again.

Pour clear light brown, with a big foamy white head. Aroma is quite malty, slightly nutty. Taste is slightly bitter. Oily and watery body, with a flat carb.

Quite an odd dunkel. Sweet and malty, with no hops characteristics at all. Okay.

Bottle. Moderate malt note of caramel, ligt to moderate herbs for the hops, light leather for the yeast, with brown sugar and cardboard in the background. Head is average to large in size, fizzy, off-white with some spots of lacing and is fully diminishing. Color is clear medium orange/red. Flavor starts lightly sweet and lightly to moderate acidic, then finishes lightly acidic and moderately bitter. Palate is light to medium, watery with a fizzy carbonation and a dry finish. A nice aroma, but this beer is a little bland and finishes too bitter for a Dunkel.
