3.3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 TheDog (504) - Aarhus, - DEC 22, 2012Bottle. Golden and clear colour with white head. Aroma and taste of hops, light roasted malt with a sweet note. Some ’Oktoberfest-ish’ mouthfeel and notes a bit more hoppy than other helles i´ve tried. Softer carbonation than Gold and Pilsener.

2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20 McTapps (1492) - Ruhrgebiet, GERMANY - MAY 15, 2013
Clear Mediums golden colour with low head and medium body. Nose of mild hops. Taste of hops, ripe grains, light honey, grass, dragonfruit and malt. Easy to drink and surprisingly not bitter at all since Flensburger tends to brew quite bitter and metallic beers.

Pale golden nice white lace
Light Grainy aroma. Sweet, light mealy malt, restrained hop profile which livens into a citric, spicy note in the aftertaste.
Medium body, mellow chewy mouthfeel

330ml Bottle, poured into Leffe chalice. Special 125 year anniversary beer.
A: Golden, clear, one and a half finger head, not great retention, small amount of lacing.
S: Grassy, fruity.
T: Fruit, grass, malt, notes of perfume. Sharp finish which gave it some balance.
M: Medium to slightly thick body, low to medium carbonation, smooth.
O: Totally different to other Flensburger beers which tend to be very dry. Pretty good.

2.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20 jkbier (59) - Rostock, GERMANY - MAR 8, 2013
Bottle. Pours a clear gold with a little white head that fades too quickly for my liking. Virtually no aroma. The taste is quite malty and swet with a pleasant mouthfeel. Not hoppy at all when compared to Flensburger’s usual line. The alcohol is well hidden, but there’s nothing special about this beer that would make it a 125 years anniversary brew. Might be a good drink in the summer when it’s hot outside but overall disappointing.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 Bamsen78 (821) - Sønderborg, DENMARK - MAR 4, 2013
Bottle. Pours clear light golden with airy white head. Clear aroma of hop with a distinct grassy note. Bitter, hoppy taste enriched by medium yeasty sweetness. Paperlike finish. An OK Drotmunder.
