The bottle looks not bad, but the form is unusual. The beer in the glass looks terrible, all the foam disappears within 15 sec. The beer is very sourish and fermented - nasty.

Pale yellow clear body with white rocky lacing head. Aromas are grains, hay some malts and dough. Palate is thin watery with flat soft carbonation and mouthfeel. Taste is somewaht medicinal, with unbalanced hoppy dryness and sweet maltiness. Finish is mild with off-flavour hops with odd metallic tartness. Positively though lacks the typical non-alco wortiness which is something new. No need to drink again, though.

Swing-top stubby by 21.11.11. Man, they’re really pounding the ’isotonisch’ in the marketing. Clear golden with a creamy white head and lots of lace. Taste has just a light lining of sweetness but it’s overshadowed by a lightly astringent but not quite metallic bitterness, and there’s a sour quality mixed in with the hops. Medium body. I can see why a lot of people would be averse to this as nasty, yucky stuff, but I still think I’d prefer it to a Jever most days.

Bottle. Nice head with good duration. Color is pale yellow. Aroma and taste are malt, water and notes of hops.

Worse-than-basic nonalcoholic crap. (This beer rating was imported from FB and unfortunately lacks any further comments.)

Unterdurchschnittliche Optik. Geruch bitter und brotartig. Geschmacklich übel bitter und wässrig bei seifigem Empfinden auf der Zunge. Im Nachgeschmack entwickelt sich ein Unterton nach alten Pilzen. Furchtbar was hier aus Flensburg kommt. Das Flensburger Frei schießt bei mir persönlich in fast allen negativen Belangen den Vogel ab. Einzig die Flasche ragt bewertungsmäßig aus dem Desaster heraus.Test vom 18.6.2007, Gebinde: Glasflasche

Clear pale yellow with a white head. Aroma is sweet, light malty and light sour. Flavor is medium sweet. Sweet finish. Extremely watery. As long as the "beer" didn’t enter my mouth it was okay. After that it was really nasty. 220611

Das Bier riecht nach Klostein, was ich jetzt mal als nicht so tolles Zeichen sehe. Der Geschmack ist wohl einer der widerlichsten, der mir in meiner Testreihe untergekommen ist. Leicht herb am Anfang, geht das Bier ins unnatürlich säuerliche über und entwickelt dabei Aromen, die nicht ausgesprochen werden sollten. Nach einem Glas von diesem Zeug sollte man den Notarzt rufen. Bottle @ Home. Pours light yellow with a big white head, Aroma of light malt, weak citrusslike hops. Taste is light bready or corny malt, very weak citrusslike hops, metallic finish. Thin watery body, soft carbonation. 110611

Swing-top bottle. Sweet barley wort aroma. Golden yellow color with moderate head. Slightly sweet wort flavor with strong metallic finish. Okay initially but intensity of metal flavor in the finish makes this undrinkable.

Bottle.Golden colour with medium white head,feels really dry and bitter with grainy mouthfeels some metallic odd finish.Taste of iron aswell.
