0,33 l bottle from CITTI Markt. ABV is 6,9%. Sparkling clear golden body with a fingerthick off-white head leaving laces on the glass wall. Honey, flowers and hay on the nose. Heavy sweet flavor and a papery, acetonic bitterness that lasts. Medium to full bodied.

Bottle. Clear, pale golden body, with a big, creamy, white head, that won’t last very long. Aroma of grains, herbs, honey, candy. Taste with the same aromas, also some citrus. Mouthfeel is medium, oily, with a low carbonation and it finishes bitter/sweet, with herbs and honey and with some alcohol warmth. Not bad, but pretty flat. The smooth honey notes are nices, but otherwise nothing special.

GoufCustom (821) - HONG KONG - JUN 27, 2014

330ml flip-top bottle bought at YATA in Grand Century Place, Mongkok.

Clear light golden colour; Half finger head with soapy white foam which fades in 30 seconds; Good sticky lacing and notable slight carbonation; Slightly fragrant and sweet aroma of full malt, with light floral nectar, very light caramel, sugar syrup, light pineapple, strong yeast, and light sharp grassy hops; Medium sweet taste of light lager malt, with light pineapple, flower petals, light sugar syrup, moderate alcohol, bread, biscuits, light yeast, lemon, light bitter hops and light sharp grass; Close to medium body. Dry, slick and slightly oily palate; Mouth feel is nice sweet maltyness - strong, but has a delightful light feeling. Okay slick body, sweetness is lightened syrup for French toast, tasty but not annoying. Also some surprising light pineapple and floral taste. Booze is fairly notable but not screaming. Bready and biscuity. Yummy!... Hoppiness is light pineapple, floral, lemon and light sharp grass in nose and taste. Bitterness is notable but light, which matches the light sweetness for a long-lasting light astringent finish; Dry after taste, Easy and light sweet to mouth.

Comments: A very neat and pleasant Heller Bock. Compare to Flen’s Winterbock, this one is full-on lagery, nice light sweetness boosted by some nice floral and tropical fruit aroma and taste. Hoppiness is light but bang-on to fit the style. This is a feel good beer, dangerously easy to drink and great for session, and one of those nice ones I wish it was in 500ml bottle instead of just 330ml. Enjoy!

Tydelig alkoholpreg. Lite syre, men litt sitruspreg. Litt kjip øl. Ikke den gode bocksmaken. (Berlin, 08.04.14)

Picked it up this morning at the local supermarket today. The bottle looked as if it would be a nice beer and it was ok. Taste is good; a beer tasting like a mediocre German white beer. The aftertaste is very pleasant. All considered a nice mediocre beer.
