3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
.33l bottle in Belgrade. Quite clear brown-yellow with white foam. Aroma isn’t very distinct. Body is richer premium lager with a little sour note. Sweet soft grains and a little orange peel. Slight bitter finish. OK

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Neophyte in the Flensburger range, in a transparent bottle to show off its golden robe, though this increases the risk of lightstruck effects - and surprise surprise, that is the first thing the nose has to endure upon opening the bottle. Coarse, creamy, yellowish, stable head, colour a light yellowish blonde, clear with nice sparkling. Nose gets, as said, a lot of cat pee and wet dog, next to sharp pale malts, corn, celery, grass. Taste begins with a pure and sweetish maltiness, more bitter towards the end with some grassy and peppery hops in the finish. Rather bland, further ruined by the lightstruck effect and quite a disappointment after their Pilsener.

2.4 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
33cl flip top bottle from Bon Voyage, Schönefeld Airport, Berlin. Pours clear pale golden with a white head. Mild malty aroma with herbal and grassy notes. Moderate sweet with a fairly nice, but mild bitterness. Refreshing enough and quite drinkable.

3.1 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 9/20
Schöne Flasche. Typisch goldene Farbe. Schaum nicht sehr stabil. Würziger Antrunk, im Abgang eine frische Herbe. Für ein Gold-Bier schmeckt es gut und es ist eine schöne Alternative für das normale sehr herbe Flensburger. Schmeckt gut!

Not horrible, but tastes like corn. Light, quaffable, slight finish. Some bitterness. Fresh.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
UPDATED: JUN 10, 2014 Bottled, 330ml flip top from S.H Jones in Banbury. Pale gold, highly carbonated with fizzed white head. Sweet corn hints through the carbonation, in fact really sweet malts, slightly glutinous, sickly. Poorly brewed, I’m surprised at S.H Jones for stocking this.

2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Very malty aroma, with some caramel and fine carbonation. In the mouth, silky, hoppy, grainy and a slightly salty.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Light yellow, white head, which stays for a while. Aroma is maybe a bit grass und hop. Taste mainly bitter and then sweet. Palate is average, watery, strange sweet aftertaste.
I could also drink water, this beer is really flat and boring.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Poorly made German beer that pours with a flat head and a darkened pale color. The beer has a sweet malty flavor and a chewy bubblegum finish. Disappointing.
