1.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
I can*t believe that Flensburger actually jumped on the "Becks Gold" waggon -but ok, seems that it sells good in clubs as these idiotic yuppies think it is cool to sip a beer which is called Gold blahblah after "Now it’s the time on Sprocket that we dance". Medium rocky white head on the indeed deep golden colored something. Really turn-off skunky perfumey, artifical chemical nose. Hay taste and ...all the bad thinks in the nose apply for the taste too. Yuck.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
0,33L clear bottle 4.8% abv bought in Flensburg.
Willingly tall head, nice pale golden body, fragile lacing.
Scents of sweet malts, grass.
Sweet malty taste with sweet hops, some grains.
Mealy a bit to palate. Well bodied.
Ends with malts, hints of sour candy, roasted grains, bread, a little bitterness too.
Quite tasty for being a pale lager.

3.4 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Poured almost two fingers of head on a clear, golden colored body.
The aroma is smells of dry wheat and barley, just a touch metallic.
The taste has a nice grain flavor. Not much else, but what’s there is fine.
The texture is softer with moderate carbonation.
It has decent flavor and is easy drinking and enjoyable.

33 Cl. flip top bottle. Very bright, clear slightly yellow beer. A very hoppy and present aroma. Somewhat "flat" taste, and the carbon bites a bit on the tongue. A slightly sweet aftertaste remained with a dry palate.
33 Cl. beugelflesje. Enorm helder, lichtgeel gekleurd bier. Enorm hoppig en aanwezig aroma. Beetje een platte smaak, en het koolzuur bijt enigszins op de tong. Een licht zoete nasmaak en droge afdronk blijven achter.

Classic quality lager. Not bad , but nothing extraordinary. German brewers can make better beer.

2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
330 ml bottle. Clear, pale golden body with a fast disappearing white head. Light aroma of grain and German lager hops, grassy and floral. Flavor has a mild, light fruitiness with light, soft malt and low bitterness. Quite thin body and short in aftertaste. A bit boring thirst quencher.
