3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 Douberd (625) - NETHERLANDS - MAR 1, 2013
330 ml swing top bottle. Poured into an english pint glass.
Copper amber colour, slighty hazy. On top a thick soapy head, white in colour, with very good retention and some lacing left around the glass.
Aroma is kind of wort like, but sweeter and not very offensive. Sort of rotten autumn leaves, a bit lactic too. Light yeast notes as well.
Sweet on the taste, with lots of malts. Turns to a pleasant light bitterness on the aftertaste.
Medium thickness on the body, average carbonation. Nice dryness on the palate.
Nice alternative to a lager, refreshing and hoppier, with an interesting set of smell and appearance too.
