Garrafa de 330ml - Heidelberg, Alemanha (7/4/2016) ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Some hops, citrus, yeast notes, good white head quite persistant, pale, light body, medium carbonation, taste of malts, honey hints, good bitter final...for me a good pilsener after all.

The beer has a nice look. The beer has a nice golden yellow color. The beer is beautifully clear. You can see some bubbles flow towards the top happily. The beer had a nice smell. It has a sweet fruity smell, of alcohol and some hops. I also smell a minimal bready yeast aroma. The smell is a nice mixture of sweet and a little bit sour and bitter. The balance is a bit off, there is a bit to much sweetness. The taste If the beer is nice. For a pilsener, it is very good. I taste a hint of caramel roast. There is also the same fresh and slightly sweet and bitter hop flavor. I also can taste the alcohol. The flavors are in better balance than the smell. The sweetness in the taste is a little bit less. The beer has a normal palate, not very special. This is just like in every ordinary pilsener. However, everything else is way better than most pilseners.

Looks, smells and tastes like what you expect of a Pilsener. Typical for northern Germany both from it’s commercial immage with the clamp cap and the dry bitterness. For me it’s just another big brewery Pilsener though - drinkable but pretty uneventful.

Easily drinkable pilsener, a little bit watery but that’s okay for an all day pilsener.

Bottle enjoyed at home
Golden, clear, massive white head. Smell of green grass, dust, spices, light malts. Light sweet, crisp, dry, refreshing, very clean. Moderate bitter, grassy tail. Quite nice!
