Flip Top Bottle 0,33. Typical Pils from northern Germany. Grassy Hops, slight malt body, very pleasant when drunk at low temperatures. A german Pilsener Legend!

On tap at The Fly in the Loaf, Liverpool. Gold, with thick white head. Some cereal on aroma, decent fizz in mouth, better than average hop on end. Lemon, but green hop as well. Surprisingly good. OK lager, little bit pukey as it warms up.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
yellow color, head white dissapears rather quickly
smells of malt and hops, not too sweetish
tasts of malt and hops
aftertaste malt and hops and some bitterness
the bitterness in the aftertaste and the fact that it is not so sweetish than other ones is not bad

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 5/20
I had a bit of a cold, so this rating might not be all together true. It was a beer with notes of corn and some weird herbal notes, the bitterness was OK, but the overall impression wasn’t nice.

2.3 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Appearance: blond straw-color. Great head, white, dense and persistent.
Aroma: grains, vanilla and honey. Slightly citric; light hoppy smells some mentholated.
Flavor: pale malts and reminiscences of wheat. Light citric-fruity like grapefruits, lemon and pineapple. Dry final, from hops (extract), persistent and some astringent. Aftertaste similar to peel grapefruits.
Palate: light body and medium carbonation.
Dry beer, some of artificial hops taste.

3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
Bottles purchased in Berlin.
I’ve had two bottles of this with widely divergent character. The first brought waves of herbal grassy hops and a crisp mouthfeel that delighted the tongue. The second would scare a skunk; heavy, sour skunked bitterness that rendered it nearly undrinkable. I’m going to rate the first experience and pull one point off the overall for the variance in quality.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
Pours yellow and produces so so white head that dissipates quickly but leaves some lacing on the glass. The odor is grainy. The mouthfeel is watery and the flavour is representative of the mouthfeel which is thin, flat, and watery. The flavour has a mettalic quality to it and not much more going on. If you want a light beer then this is the one for you.

2.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Bottle. Heavy hoppy, light sour. Big white head, rocky, mostly lasting. Pale yellow body. Moderate acidic & bitter, average duration. Medium body, dry, soft carbonation. Good beer, but nothing special.

3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 14/20
From 12 oz bottle with ceramic flip top- poured poured pale golden blonde, very nice head formation, aroma of yeast and sweetness. Hits the mouth with sweet note, thin body, clean finish. Very refreshing brew, and very underrated.

The overall rating of 46 sickens me to the point that I can’t see straight. Let me guess, if it had an obscene amount of american hops, a colorful (or better yet, shiny holographic) logo, and came from Colorado or California it would be a 98. Right? Come on! Americans have recently produced some impressive beers from all styles, but NOTHING like this. Probably the second best beer in existence after Jever Pilsner.
