12 oz. Flip top bottle. Pour is a clear light straw yellow with a fluffy white head and lacing. It has a light sweet malt aroma with some herbal notes. The flavor is very light sweet malt will some hop at the end. Boring but not bad.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
(Bottled) Very pale yellow-golden color with a largeish, pillowy-foamy and lacy head. Acidic, corny-malty aroma with some sweetness. Acidic, corny-malty flavor with grassy hops and a dry, acidic finish. Light-bodied, acidic palate with foamy carbonation. A very boring pils - no need to buy again.

3.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Beer pours very pale golden color with a big, totally retained egg white head. Aroma is hay like with some spiciness. Flavor is nicely malty with a great bitter hoppy spiciness in the finish. This is a really good pils.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle. Straw body with a thick foamy white heady. Nose-honey, straw. Taste-way too bitter, bitter tannins like pecan shells. Puckering drying mouthfeel, like drinking Bud Light with powdered pecan shells. The way it dries out the mouth is amazing.

3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Golden with a relatively lifeless body, this has an enormous, billowy head, making me glad I poured it into a 22-ounce stein. Incredible lacing. The aroma is malty with a balanced floral hopping. The hops pick up a tad in the flavor, blending nicely with the bready malts and leaving with a mild bitter finish. Not incredible like the lacing, but a pretty decent Pilsener.

Bottle (from Bitter Virtue, BB Mar 07). Minimal hops on the nose with some light maltiness. Clean malt body with refreshing hop balance. Largely unexceptional but quite drinkable lager.

2.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20
The aroma is malty with some grassy hops. The appearance is pale gold with a large head. The flavor is malty with some citrus and high bitterness that is somewhat astringent. The palate is average for the style. Overall it’s a typical German Pilsner.

Poured pale golden with spry carbonation and a frothy head of whipped eggwhites that left intricate lace. Malts and hops equally prominent in the aroma. Sharp bitter flavor with a breadiness in the finish. I did not expect much from this beer based on their <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/beer/flensburger-gold I recently tried, so I’d say this greatly exceeded my expectations.

Wow, what a great pils. Just when you think you’re completely sick of a style ...
Anyway, pours very pale with a fluffy, beaten egg-white head. Nose doesn’t give much away. Flavour is dry, bitter, and thirst-quenching with little notes of citrus and the perfect blend of malt/hop/yeast, finishing sweet and long. Has to be drunk cold I’m guessing, and does all you could ask of a lager.
