One of my favourites - light golden color, heavy head. very nice hoppy taste.Very crisp refreshing taste what the carbonation increases further. When I have a beer at home for casual drinking this is the one.

Gr0ve (2134) - Oslo, NORWAY - AUG 21, 2006
500 ml bottle. Light yellowish golden almost white in colour. Crystal clear. Throws a thick tall fine-laced white head that clings to the glass. Floral hoppy aromas with a nutty background. Delicious crisp hop flavour, clearly from a big dose of saaz hops. Roasted notes. Lots of carbonation. Medium-bodied. Finishes with a very refreshing aftertaste consisting mainly of hop bitterness. Very nice North-German pilsener. This is one of the better pilseners I’ve had in a long time. Why don’t they make pilseners like this anymore?

This had a medium gold colored body with a white head. The aroma was slightly sweet with tobacco and some chocolate. Yes, interesting smells for the style. The taste was toffee with tea and some tobacco. A decent and strange beer.

[Bottle] Clear pale golden colour. Classic Pils appearance, with its pale body and chalk white foam. Metallic lead aroma, bit herbal and dryish. Papery mouthfeel, bit harsh, still a grainy backbone. Thin. Dry, grassy bitterness.

Draught at Papaya, Kreuzberg, Berlin. Just slightly sour with straw notes and ending with just a little bitterness.

(Bottle, thanks to Gnoff) Pours light, light yellow with a crisp white haed. Looks allmost like chanpagne. Smells soil, malt and herbs. Metal feeling. Bitter, sharp taste. A bit dry. Some alcohol, both in the taste and the smell. Bread taste.

Light gold and clear in color. Huge white frothy head. Kind of surprised at the 49 rating. I thought this was good. Sort of light but very enjoyable and highly drinkable. Lacks a bit of spiciness but still good.

Golden color, huge white head. Dominant dry malty scent. Dry bitter taste, no sweetness left. High bitterness, good mouthfeel. Bitter aftertaste.

12 oz. Flip top bottle. Pour is a clear light straw yellow with a fluffy white head and lacing. It has a light sweet malt aroma with some herbal notes. The flavor is very light sweet malt will some hop at the end. Boring but not bad.

(Bottled) Very pale yellow-golden color with a largeish, pillowy-foamy and lacy head. Acidic, corny-malty aroma with some sweetness. Acidic, corny-malty flavor with grassy hops and a dry, acidic finish. Light-bodied, acidic palate with foamy carbonation. A very boring pils - no need to buy again.

Beer pours very pale golden color with a big, totally retained egg white head. Aroma is hay like with some spiciness. Flavor is nicely malty with a great bitter hoppy spiciness in the finish. This is a really good pils.
