Bottle. Average head, quickly dissipating and leaving an ugly lacing. Somewhat grainy, could use some more bittering hops. Mild, decent malts, a pretty good daytime lunch type beer.

Frothy good head, mostly lasting. Yellow colour, ok aroma, nbut it doesnt taste good, moderate bitterness is overwelmed by an awfull acetic taste. I wont try this again.

Light golden, quite ok lasting white head. Quite mild. hoppy and metallic aroma. Fruity notes in flavor, some hops ans with a quite nice bitterness in the finish.

FrankJohansen (3603) - Sabro, DENMARK - SEP 13, 2005
Golden colour with a medium but lasting partly lazing white head. Aroma of hobs. The slightly bitter flavour has hints of hobs. A light body, but better than most pilsner beers.

unibaren (154) - 8000 Århus C, DENMARK - AUG 22, 2005
Aroma is weak and mostly comprised of hop-bitterness. The appearance is very pale lager-yellow, with a nice head which lasts a bit and leaves nice lacings on the inside of the glass. And I’ll add an extra point to the appearance because of the cool bottle. The taste is quite hoppy (for a pilsner) and clean and refreshing. The body is fairly light, but the beer is nevertheless very drinkable, and definitely one of the better euro-lagers. Danmark til Ejderen!

screwball (1099) - Motala, SWEDEN - AUG 9, 2005
Light yellow colour. Looks watery. And the taste confirmes the colour of the body. It is not much taste in this pilsner. Just a slight feel of hops and bitterness.

Big head, slowly shirinking. Nice smell, a certain sweetness to balance the weak bitterness. Average.

Bottled. Clear yellow coloured with a huge white head. Aroma of malts, corn and hops. Flavour of malts and hops. Bitter finish.

pivnizub (9150) - Bochum, Porúří, GERMANY - JUL 23, 2005
Swing-top bottle: Very pale golden, huge fluffy white head, lasting and lacing; floral hoppiness in the aroma, traces of cookies; quite strong bitter flavour and a bit harsh bitter finish; light bodied, lively carbonation; only average quality, but not unpleasant; it seems to be the influence of hop-extracts, that the beers brewed by the use of this semi-artificial ingredient are mainly bitter and less aromatic..........

Marko (4108) - Split / Zagreb, CROATIA - JUL 3, 2005
UPDATED: JUL 4, 2005 Brought to Croatia by a friend who lives in Germany. She was supposed to bring me this when she was last here (3 months ago), but she accidentaly left it at home. I love this kind of bottle, but this might just be the ugliest one I’ve seen of its kind, extremely worn (the beer isn’t old, the bottle is). Anyway, this pours a huge fluffy (nice) white head which disappears quickly leaving a lot of lacing. The body is...well...damn pale. Take the chamomile tea shade of yellow, and put it through a chrome filter. That’s it. I guess. It’s very fizzy, and there is a huge amount of bubbles clinging to the edge of my glass. But the fizziness and the bubbles go away as fast as the head disappears. Now, the nose....ugh. Not that nice, malt & dust. Reminds me of the Altenmünster lagers. The taste is ok very fruity and malty, balanced by a long, and harsh bitter finish. For some reason I can’t shake off the feeling that I would like this draught.
