The german wheat beers are travelling north. This fairly new wheat sets itself apart from the typical bavarian by its unique taste and the typical flensburger bottle.

OK Hefeweizen fra Flensburger. Sammenhæng mellem pris og kvalitet. Meget flot flaske.

Bottle. Hazy straw beer w 2 finger head. Malty yeasty aroma. Some banana notes. Wheat. Mild citrus. Ok but not as good as you would expect from a German weizen. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sweet cereal aroma with notes of banana, wood color, a little sour sweet taste, palate leaves a light body. Have been days trying all the German beers in the supermarket and this was better than the average. This has a nice packaging and some personality. Would definitely try it again.

Poors clear straw. Big aroma and taste of banana bread and slight bubble gum. Not a huge fan of these flavours all the time but Nice for a change occasionally. Think this is a good wee beer.

Pours hay blonde into a honey yellow with a large foamy white head. Wet lacing. Aroma of floral, banana and some noble hop. Taste follow but is quite mellow. Wheat flavors are played down and the banana sweetness is all upfront. A bit cloying and thick on the palate. A bit sour and yeasty. Very drinkable I must say, but low volume on the flavor.

Bottle from my father, he bought it in Germany. Light wheat beer with some foam banana and similar hefe-weizen aromas. Not the best wheat I’ve had but not bad.
