The german wheat beers are travelling north. This fairly new wheat sets itself apart from the typical bavarian by its unique taste and the typical flensburger bottle.

5.1% take out from the World Beer Museum. Quite a clear pour for a weizen. Nice fruity taste, possibly peach notes? The flavor is sweet & spicy with hints of bubblegum. A nice weizen.

Cor dourada escura. Espuma com boa formação, media persistência. Aroma de fermento, banana, biscoito. Sabor de banana ao fundo, baixo amargor e baixo dulçor. Levemente adstringente no final. Boa Weizen, nada de mais. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Welch schwachsinnig dumpfes, wässriges und beinahe bitteres Weizenbier. Sicher, man kennt Flens und man kennt Hefeweizen. So bedient Flens seine Stereotypen und nicht die des Weizens. Schwach, ganz schwach.

Milky light golden colour with low head and thin body. Nose of light yeast. Taste of very mild yeast, hay, bananas and fruit salad. Very watery and thin taste experience, not really that nice, but easy to drink and it might be quite refreshing during summer.

Bottle 33cl. Nice white layer, leaves a ring by the sides. Hazy yellow orange color. Not too much carbonation. Aroma is citrus, yeast and banana. Flavour is of same, but more wheat. Feels a bit unbalanced. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPad

33cl from Bon Voyage, Berlin. Pours slightly hazy golden with a diminishing white head. Slightly fruity aroma with banana, wheat and citrus. Slightly watery, but not so sweet. Moderate banana flavour and a quite acidic and somewhat dry finish. Not exciting, but quite refreshing.

330 ml swing top bottle, poured into a weizen glass. ABV 5.1% Orange colour on the body, white on the two fingers tall head. Soapy, with good retention and no lacing on the glass. Wheat on the aroma and light bubblegum. Nice refreshing taste, fruity with wheat being more present on the aftertaste. Thin body, average carbonation. Overall a very drinkable beer, makes you craving for the next sip.

Cloudy hazy light amber brown colour with dusty sediments; One finger head with white foam which last for about 1 minute; Small lacing and notable carbonation; Good aroma of banana, citrus, malt and spices; Very light sweet taste of malt, yeast, clove and grass; Mid to light body, oily palate, with mouth feel dominated by light malt, yeast with cardboard background, which is quite odd for a weizen but at such low level which is not uncomfortable; Hoppiness is minimal and shows up very briefly near the end but not as a finish. Fairly dry and tart after taste, very easy to mouth.

Comments: a really average hefeweiss. Initially it has the right looks and smells, but the taste lacks dimension and excitement. The cardboard palate, albeit low, is pretty disappointing. Not bad, but not recommended.
