I like the bottle cool cork contraption. The beer has a nice haze, clean smell and taste. Not overly flavorful but a solid hefe.

This wheat sets itself apart from the typical bavarian wheat beer by a unique hoppy freshness.

Bottle. High creamy and lasting white head. Hazy yellow body. Dusty banana apple pear aroma. Highly carbonated bittersweet flavor. The beer is not as sweet as feared. Actually I find it quite refreshing. Long sweet aftertaste.

Beneath a huge pillow of nearly white foam, the beer is a hazy straw color. Good head retention and lacing. Aroma of tangy wheat, some tart lemon, and unripe banana.
Semi sweet and delicious wheat bread flavors, accompanied by yeast, clove, banana, and a touch of tangy hop. Refreshing beer nicely in balance. Light to medium body, good carbonation.

A beautiful bottled beer. Semitransparent with a sticky head.
A fresh and thirst-killing flavour with a hint of banana. Must be served below 15 C. Great everyday beer.

Half way in between a crystall clear
and unfiltered wheat beer.Very strange
to see a Bavarian-style bannana
wheat beer this far north in Germany.
The Flensburger brewery has yet to
disappoint me.

From a 12 oz. distinctive stubby Flensburger flip-top brown bottle with "Best Before" date on the back label, 07/10/06. Made a very good appearance, poured a dirty cloudy golden with a large pillowy white head that slowly reduced to a thin foamy lacing and a good deal of laced sticking. Had a tasty aroma, banana fruity yeastiness, clove and peppery spice, and a semi-sweet twangy wheat malt. Good carbonation and a smooth light to medium bodied mouth feel, good drinkability. A good, crisp taste, banana, fruity, a smooth clove spicy bitterness in the middle and a semi-dry wheat malty finish.

Very beautiful weizen! Hazy golden with the one the most extrordinary heads, creamy, white, mmmmm... The aroma is quite nice too, lots of banana, spices, yeast and some slight hints of smoke. Flavor is dry, fruity, yeasty, spicy and some rather nice notes of banana and clove. A very nice hefeweizen, im truly amazed that they can make that good a hefeweizen in Flensburg!?!
