UPDATED: NOV 3, 2014 33cl flip-top bought in Germany. Pours amber with not much head or carbonation. A little fruit cake and pear drops on the nose, soft and slightly sweet initially, building to a drier more nutty body, again with fruit cake notes plus a good alcohol bite, and some peppery hops on the finish. Nice chewy stuff. 2012 version has burnt caramel notes and is less fruitcakey. 2013 version has that burnt caramel plus a peppery hoppiness.
