The strongly spicy Bock with pleasant mildness. A full-bodied specialty for dark days and frosty nights. Seasonally available only in winter.

Pours a medium amber color with a medium white head that dissappears entirely after a couple of minutes. No lacing. Aroma is of sweet malts with high doses of caramel, molasses and milk. Some cereally notes. Flavor is sweet, caramelly with notes of molasses, dried fruits, raisins, candy bar and caramel. Unfortunately it tends a little to the cloying side, especially when you’re finishing the bottle. Medium to big body, syrupy texture. Low carbonation and long sticky finish. A decent bock which could be better with less sweetness.

It is warm golden with a huge, creamy head. The aroma has sweetness and notes of malt, butterscotch and fruit. The flavour has sweetness and notes of malt, butterscotch, fruit, pleasantly warming alcohol, and the finish has a touch of citrus. It’s smooth and pleasant.

Malty, dark rich. Medicinal notes, chocolate and toffee. Went nice with the meatballs I was eating, but nothing outstanding on its own.

had this with Oldrtybastrd. The winter beers all taste similiar to a Pils, Helles with slight grassy notes, watery and clear.

The bottle looks good, the beer in the glass also. Starts strong, modest sourish, a sweet note in the background. Finish more spicy, still strong. Average bock.

Bottle brown, 330 ml, 16.3 P
Appearance: Pours honey - orange body colour with a bit hazy texture and intensive natural effervescence, head is off - white, almost cappuccino like in colour, deep, frothy, regular in structure, initially big than slowly decreasing to medium, quite firm, there is an interesting lacing.
Aroma: Soft, fresh, fruity, resin, slightly alcoholic, faint note of cherries, a hint of chalk, an interesting malty sweetness, a bit spicy, reminding of some English Ales, orange peal, all in all faint, cask wood, ink.
Flavour: Front is sweet, than comes moderate alcoholic nose and nice alcoholic warmth on palate. Alcohol in its taste is not that strong though. White wine grapes, syrupy - oily in its texture, very mild aromatic hoppy background playing very weak role, resin, robust, sweet but not from the artificial sugar addition but from the special malt. Finish duration is medium, hints of orange peal, spices.
Palate: Body is medium, mild in texture and strong on the other hand, oily to syrupy, medium alcoholic nose, carbonation on palate is rather mild, finish feel is medium alcoholic, spicy, a bit fruity.
