Pours amber clear lacing white head. Aroma sweet malts, leather, grass. Palate is soft medium full.bodied. Carbonation is soft little flat. Taste is roasty malts, sweet malts, some floral hops notes and warming ABV. Finish is mild, sweet malty and slightly dry and somehow "salty". Quite mild Bock, easy to drink. OK.

Light clear golden amber with a thinnish covering of off-white head comprised mainly of coarse bubbles. Not hugely exciting to look at, but not repulsive either. The aroma is of rich German malts that I love so much. There’s very little else, but I’m not entirely convinced it needs terribly much else despite imagining there ought to be spices, cloves and nutmeg. The flavour is much richer than the nose leads you to believ. A surge of alcohol based spicy dessert along with full tingly-prickly bubbles. The finish clings to the palate and takes its time to recede.

Bottle in hotel room Copenhagen. Clear, slightly dark golden appearance with an off white head. Fairly sweet, a touch toasty, rich hay, sweet malty aroma. Somewhat spicy, a bit syrupy, rich pale malty, hay/straw flavor. Blah.

Bottle 33cl, a clear copper amber beer with low head. Nose is on dry malt and nut as for an usual lager. Aroma is very sweet and intense on corn sugar, a very poor stuff, no complexity just alcohol and sugar, metallic notes.

Test vom 28.11.2009, Gebinde: Glasflasche Noten: 10,7,7,7,7,7 - 7,30
