3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 Papsoe (25131) - Frederiksberg, DENMARK - OCT 13, 2005
UPDATED: OCT 14, 2005 (Bottle 33 cl) In 2004 this was a brand new beer from the brewery in Flensburg. The strongest beer I’ve had from this brewery. Perhaps a little surprising this is a light bock. A dark, malty, rich doppelbock might be a more suitable choice for the season. Light amber color with a tall, full head. Very rich and alcoholic, very sweet. Obviously a lot of malt has been used here, and there might be a slight, underlying alcoholic tone. But it’s definitely a beer which is a quality product. Controlled bitterness. 111104
