Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for this bottle! Malty-sweetish beginning. Fresh, smooth but not too deep. Easy to drink, malty with a nice highly drinkable sweetness. Typical Export!

Foffern (1383) - Bodø, NORWAY - AUG 14, 2014
Bottle at home. Pours a slightly hazy straw colour with a medium, creamy and white head. Aroma of pale malt, hay and cooked vegetables. The flavour is not very different but has a decent, malty and a little dry ending. In addition there’s some lemon and pepper. Has a slick mouth feel and a light to medium bitterness. A malty and drinkable beer but the DMS is too present, and a strange beer in the end.

Bottle shared at the Pre-CBC 2013 Line Tasting - Copenhagen. Many thanks to the kind souls sharing their beers. Pours clearish pale yellow with a fine, white cream head. Nise crispy cereal here, light bitter hay. Light bodied with average carbonation. Mild bitter hay finish with crunchy cereal grains. Very good lager. Simple and tasty.

Bottle while in line for CBC. Cheers to whoever supplied this. The pour’s amber with a small head. The nose is mashed banana sweetness. General grain and toasted malt. The taste is honeyed bread, a slight bit of orange peel. More toast. Sweet and easy to drink. Actually pretty solid for what it is.
