fiulijn (10421) - Como, ITALY - APR 4, 2012
Bottle from L’Abbaye des Saveurs, Lille
The bottle is a gusher; muddy amber-brown color, with frothy head. Aroma of hops, partially fruity, and sweaty, with a lot of yeast; bread. Overcarbonated body, moderate sweetness, malt flavor, with some fruity character; good hops; reasonable balance.
Still not too professional, too much yeast, but very pleasant.

750ml bottle from Cave a Bulle.

Appearance : Deep amber tiny head. No lacing.
Aroma : Rubber, soy sauce, light bandaid. Burnt caramel, light hops.
Taste : Fruity sweetness. Overcoked caramel. Metallic and rubbery. Light fruity finish. Light hops.
Palate : Soft carbonation, thin palate.
Overall : This really feels like an infected beer but most of the ratings use the same descriptors as me so I guess this beer is just like that. Not good at all. Nose worse than taste but still bad enough that I can’t drink more than a few sips just for the rating.
