Unlike many reviewers here, no head at all on this bottle. Aroma, and to some extent the colour is tangerine orange more than citrus with unfortunately some roquefort cheese notes that I’ve noticed on other ipa’s (what is that ?) Palate is thin with just enough hoppy bitterness to make this pleasant. Also the label looks like it was done by the guy who did the Mr Benn cartoons which is a bonus.

Bref je me comprends, bière agréable.

Bottle: Thanks Secret Sinterklaas: Served in a Chouffe glass: Took me almost 15 minutes to get this beer into my glass. Only foam, lots of foam, bith in my glass and the bottle... When it finally settled the beer is hazy amber brown in color with a frotty airy off white foamy head on top. Aromas of plants, soap, floral tones, some hops, teast, light citrus, some herbs and some vanilla ish soap. Flavour has a lot of floral tones, but there are also hop notes, some herbs, a hint of fruit like: grapefruit and some bitter citrus, herbal bitters, some yeast and hop bitters. Aftertaste is a mix of bitters, grapefruit, herbs, hops and some floral tones. Low carbo, creamy bit blown mouthfeel, medium bodied and a creamy texture.

19-OCT-2013, bottle @Mortens. Amber with lasting, lacing tan head. Aroma is mainly oxidized stuff. Madeira, Nail polish remover. Definately sick. Taste the same. This is a Flemmish red!!! Not inteded but hey, it’s actually not too bad. Quite complex. Not an IPA but something equally interesting:-)

Deu (716) - Nantes, FRANCE - SEP 4, 2013
Bottle in Nantes. Clear amber coloured with a HUGE white head. Sweet and fruity aroma of caramel, hops and citrus. Fruity flavour of caramel, hops and grass with notes of citrus. Hoppy finish. Too much carbonation, making it difficult to drink. The date was Ok, but we had to wait 15minutes before beiing able to drink it.. But impressed at the end. Y

Lowenbrau (1981) - Asturias, Oviedo, SPAIN - AUG 29, 2013
330 ml bottle from Tri Martolod. Grassy, hebal, some caramel aromas. POurs hazy amber, with average off white head, some lacing. Medium body, average carbonation. Harsh, quite bitter, some weird flavours. Not so well balanced.

erickok (3695) - Tours (and Paris), FRANCE - APR 14, 2013
Brown bodied with a stable off white soapy head. Rustic hops, forest, hay, and a light fresh yeast. Taste starts light sweet actually and only then reveals some foresty hop bitterness. More harsh, resin bitterness in the end, which is the best part about this beer. Body is a bit thin, unfortunately. I would happily drink this again but there?s room for improvement. (33cl bottle from Saveur Bière)

Ungstrup (29474) - Citizen of the universe, DENMARK - MAR 18, 2013
Bottled. A hazy amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma has notes of malt, caramel, and spices. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, caramel, and spices, leading to a dry and bitter finish.
