No carbonation to speak of. Dark, if not black, a ruby tint. OVerr-ripe fruit in the nose. Plums. Fruit and yeast in the palate. Plums, prunes, aplles. Flat. A beer that fails to live up to its potential.

Bottled: Sourly, fruity aroma. Herbs and roasted malt. Dark brown color, small head. Flavor is fruity and quite herbal. Light sourly, herbal bitterness and a dry herbal finish with roasted malt and bitter hop end. Interesting

Bottle, bought @ BierPassion Weekend. Taste 24.07.09 with William and friends. Dark brown color, with off-white head. Aroma malts, sweet, roasted. Medium body. Taste roasted malts, light bitterness.

Dark brown coloured beer with a small off-white head. Light sweet malty roasted aroma, with some suggary-licorce touched in the end. Full palate. Finish is light biteer malty roasted with some malty hints in the end. Nice, but misses some more in depth flavour.

a stout in France, how about that? And a real one... Not just a stout for making a stout, but that stout is just great. That stout is dark, sweet and dry, strong and drinkable, tasty and gorgeous. The smell is quite great with it’s licorice rememberance, the head is clear, the bitterness is sweet but really present, in any words, it’s a great one.
