A fairly hoppy pale ale. Easy drinking with a bitter, spicy hop flavour. At 3.9%, a good session ale

Cask Stillage at the Assembly Rooms, Tamworth 11/09/2010 Some phenolic aroma. Clear golden coloured hoppy and a little citrus flavoured with a dry bitter and slightly acidic finish.

Bottle poured a golden yellow with thin white head, smells of citrus zest and a slight hint toffee to taste a nice light fruity taste followed by a nice warming bitter nite for the aftertaste great ale

Cask @ The Bon Accord. Mild resin & tropical fruit aroma. Pale golden yellow colour, good head. Lemon & resin flavour. Bitter aftertaste. Reasonable golden ale.

Cask, Swan & Rushes, Leicester. Golden with a white foam. Aromas are grassy with lemon and cereal. Marmalade on toast with a light nuttiness. Flavours are bitter lemon with grapefruit bite. Very grassy with lemon pith. Low malts with some marmalade sweetness. Dry and bitter on the finish. A decent bitter session brew.

Cask conditioned gravity dispense Northants Beer Festival 2011. A golden beer with a beautiful fresh citussy aroma, with oranges to the fore. A disappointment in the mouth though with a bit of stingy hop, spicy hay and glue. Bitter and a touch flabby.

Gravity, Leicester 2011. Dusted orange with no head. Negligible aroma leaning towards grapefruit pith and cat biscuits. Earthy, unusual character; recently uprooted flowers, orange zest, nut husk. Solid, pithy...but doesn’t beg a re-sampling.
