COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Time for the next homebrew winner! Cary Camden of the Texas Carboys wins this month’s pro-am competition with his 304 Kolsch (the 304 comes from Cary’s initials which are CCCIV). This style originates on Cologne, Germany and is one of the world’s most drinkable and refreshing styles. It is brewed with German Pilsner malt, wheat and German Tettnanger hops. Light in color and body with a crisp, clean finish and perfect hop bitterness. If you normally drink American light lagers, this beer is for you!

Pint glass at the joint- served a transparent lightened yellow color, no head but it left very inviting weblike lacing upon the glass surface the more I drank from it. Aroma of light floral hops and some dulled with time grains. Hits the mouth with a light body, malt-although restrained, is still very pleasant, hops in the middle that become a crisp finish. This should be drank outside on a hot ass Texas day for maximum enjoyment!

Tap at the brewpub. The look is golden in color, foamy white head, and clear. The smell is grainy, floral, perfumy, mild, and ok. The taste is grains, malts, and really not much else. Very drinkable and refreshing.
