COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A strong reddish brown ale with a deep orange/copper hue made with flaked corn, orange peel, and Mexican chocolate. Beware, the 7.8% ABV will sneak up on you!

On tap at the brewery. Brown color and very clear. Not much carbonation. The aroma is malty with a bit of chocolate. The flavor is malty and just a bit sweet. The chocolate is not that obvious. Maybe the orange peel is a bit more noticeable. Not very hoppy. Overall the flavors meld together into a smooth, enjoyable beer. The alcohol is not very obvious so it goes down easy. Good beer.

On tap at the brewpub. The beer pours a clear, light brown color with a small tan head. The aroma has some nice toffee and chocolate notes to it, with a little bit of citrus mixed in. The flavor is similar. I get some nice light cocoa notes, as well as some orange citrus and toffee. The alcohol is well hidden, with the beer tasting more like a 4-5 percent brown ale. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
