3.1 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20 mmmbeer (1154) - Austin, Texas, USA - JUN 25, 2012
Tulip glass at the joint- served a tan/coppper color, almost like apple juice, no head and sat very still in the glass. Aroma of yeast, granny smith apples, brett, and a note of funk. Hits the mouth with a very light body, sour and tartness dominate from start to finish but at least it isn’t overpowering, clean tart apple finish. Intriguing, but kind of one dimensional.
