Poured a hazy russet colour. No head. Not much nose, but really nice, mild funk that was very refreshing.

Red orange color with a medium sized, off white head that left nice lacing on the glass. Aroma of vanilla, brett, light caramel notes, some fruit. Taste of honey, some toast, persimmon, vanilla, and a wild finish.

On tap during the 2012 RateBeer Winter Gathering. The beer pours a hazy orange color with a white head. The aroma has a lot of brett character, with a lot of leathery funk present. I also get some toffee notes as well as quite a bit of orange citrus in the aroma. The flavor shares a lot with the aroma. I get the same leather and funk notes, with a lot of juicy, slightly tart lemons, also coming through. There is also a nice toffee quality in the flavor. The beer is very easy to drink. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.

Tap at Flix.
Pours a chunky cheddar orange with a nose of zesty Sprite persimmon and light bread. Flavor is refreshing persimmon and a light, bready orange. Thick on the palate. Good, but Mr. Romero disagrees.

First to rate! 2/23/12. On tap at Flix for RBWG 2012! Hazy orange pour with a nice khaki head that fades to a film and laces a bit. Funky, fruity aroma that definitely shows persimmon and a bit of caramelly chocolate. Slightly fruity, sweet persimmon flavor with persistent chocolate and a nice funkiness and lingering dryness. Not too shabby!

Bottle courtesy of Walt at BCTC. Pours a clear amber with a thin white head. Candy and shower gel on the nose. Sweet and fruity. Bright and lively, malt toast and not nearly as much acid as I was expecting from the nose. Soft musk, some light styrofoam notes. Musk, wheat, and yeast on the finish.
