COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A beer with an identity crisis. It starts life thinking it is Belgian but soon realizes it is destined to be more American after all. A dark red ale that blends a mildly roasty flavor with punchy American hops. The fruity character of the Belgian yeast rounds out the profile to make a beer that orbits mysteriously around the world of existing beer styles. Belgian red IPA? Malt bill: Marris Otter malt, Pilsener Malt, crystal malt, chocolate malt, black malt, flaked barley, sugar. Hops: Nugget, Amarillo, Cascade, Apollo, Columbus

Deep amber pour with a creamy tan head and lace. Aroma if breadiness, B.yeast, and a hinto citrus. Caramel malt, bread, and yeasty. Medium bodied and a tad fizzzy. Pretty good beer.

On tap at Flix. Brownish pour with a tan head. Aroma is big fruit, almost raisin, and brown sugar. Taste is a little roast, kinda fruity, lots of smacky bubblegum, and a little more brown sugar.

On tap at Flix. Pours a clear deep red with beige head. Nice, bright aroma of citrus and pine with just a hint of toasted malt. Flavor is much the same. Medium body with high carbonation. Overall, solid brew!

On tap at the brewpub. The beer pours a reddish color with a tan head. The aroma is definitely hoppy, with some nice pine and orange citrus notes. There is also a nice amount of bread in the aroma, as well as some yeast notes. The flavor is more of the same. The biscuit malt goes very well with the orange and pine notes from the American hops. The Belgian yeast is present in the flavor as well and adds a little bit of spiciness. The bitterness is fairly low. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
