COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask, Regular;
this beer, as the Welsh expression Bois Bach suggests, is to be drunk amongst friends. It is a golden bitter of 3.8% ABV with a slightly raised hop factor and a clean smooth taste. It is our designated session beer.

Cask @ GBBF 2007, London. Hazy light to medium amber color with a small, fizzy, fair lacing, mostly diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is light to moderate malty, toasted, medicine. Flavor is light to moderate sweet with a short duration. Body is light to medium, texture is watery, carbonation is flat.

Cask at GBBF 2007. An amber beer with a thin beige head. The aroma is sweet malty with primary notes of caramel. The flavor is sweet malty with notes of hops and caramel as well as lighter notes of citrus and bread. The body is thin.

Hazy copper coloured ale covered by a lasting off-white ring. Spicy toasted malts appear at first bready, but remind more of pancakes and with a strange algae-like herbal touch. Blueberry and strawberry toppings join in as well. Surprising flavours that you would not expect to be so good a match, but the balance is present and the assembling is efficient. One of my favourite from Wales, but quite watery.

Copper with a small white head. Malty aroma with a medicine off-note. Dry flavour with grassy hops and a hint of peat flavour.

Cask@GBBF2007. Deep amber colour, mediumsized white head. Aroma is really much a wet cold cellar with mould and some balancing up caramel and fruity hops. Flavour is extremely wooden with some very earthy notes. Very refreshing and different.

Cask, GBBF 2007. Nose is charcoal and firework. Strong burnt charcoal, some hop. Appearance is dark chestnut, no head. Mouth is burnt and medical disinfectant, some sourness. Overwhelmingly burnt. What were they thinking?

Cask conditioned - gravity dispense - Northampton BF. A hazy murky brown color (not golden as the commercial description suggests). The aroma is malty but with hints of sulphur. The taste is malty and tastes a bit homebrew with some chemical qualities. Not very good.
