COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
Lovingly crafted with American hops, wheat and bitter orange. Fresh, floral, slightly spicy and a little satsumery (which, if truth be told, is not a real word).

Cask at the Florence on 1st June 2011. Clear amber with thin offwhite creamy head and initiall lacing. Honey aroma with herby note and ginger touch. Main taste in-mouth is initially quite sweet - berry fruits, then rich grassy hoppiness arrives second. An increasingly bitter finish; velvet smooth mouthfeel. Pleasant rounded premium ale, flavour best derived through large, rather than small, sips.

Pours as cloudy copper colour with no head. Wheat beer with a fruity aroma. In particular oranges, satsuma and lemon. Sweet taste with an orange aftertaste.

Cask at Pig’s Ear Beer Festival, London. Hazy bronze colour. Hay-like hop aroma. Mid dry with light-medium body, soft mouthfeel. Some butter, loads of hay. Mid-bitter finish. Pleasant, if buttery.

Cask (gravity dispense) at Pigs Ear Beer Festival (Day 1) on 6 December 2011. Golden amber colour. Big butterscotch aroma. Better on the palate. Hops peeping through but obscured by the butterscotch. Wouldn’t have guessed it was supposed to be an APA on this showing. Condition dubious. Flagged for re-rate.

Cask@Pigs Ear Beer Festival 2011. Golden colour, small white head. Aroma is toffee, caramel, fruits, mild spices and some wood. Flavour is fruits, spices, quite hoppy as well as some nice fruity notes in the aftertaste.
