2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Sour, kinda stinky toasted malt aroma. Blue longneck, clipart label, woody orange beer with a clingy, thin white head. Sour, lightly astringent, cheap malting, light bittering. Medium to slightly light body, sour and soapy aftertaste. This was on fire sale at Market Square Liquors for $3.99/6 but I think I came up on the short end of the stick. The rest of this six pack is going to turn into marinade for pork steaks.

2.8 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz BLUE bottle. Copper color, off-white head. Malt aroma, some grass. Flavor of toasted grains, sweet corn, German malts. Basic Oktoberfest/Märzen flavors. Toasted grains w\ steamed vegetables, some oak. Well balanced. Some off flavors. Finishes with a dominant wood character. A very nice Vienna Lager. (3540)

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 12/20
given FBCs pattern of putting out passable but bland brews, i wasnt expecting much from this. surprisingly, it was better than expected. notes of toffee, butterscotch, medium roasted malts. finishes clean. not great, but better than anything else they do. this should be year round from this company, as odd as that sounds.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
12oz bottle poured into glass. I wouldn’t really call this an oktoberfest beer, it’s just way too light on the malt/mouth feel. It’s definitely an easy drinking beer but it just doesn’t fit to style.

has a very deep malty style with hardly anything else to go on. the malts are some pecans and slight toffee but their is a strange after taste that is hard to ignore. no hops at all. its good drinking.

3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
12 oz. bottle thanks to my Buddy Ben for being me back a few Florida Beer back home! Lager glass shows a clear amber color, head was large at pour, which died to a thin ring quickly. Nose is caramel malt and spice. Light in body with bread like malt. Finishes a bit sweet and Earthy. Average yet, still real drinkable. The beginning of my Sunday Oktoberfest tasting.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Appearance: amber and garnet. Bready collar with the start of a nice lacy collar. Swirls foamy but no lace.
Nose: crunchy leaves of red, gold, amber, and brown. Apple skin crisps. Hint of staleness in the back. Tree bark. Red and purple grape skins – bittersweet and tannic.
Palate: medium-bodied. Sweet in the middle – caramel and apples, on the dry side though. More staleness and unfortunate hints of diacetyl. Bark and fall leaves. Grape skins. Applesauce and sauced pears underneath.
Final Thoughts: a bit messy but alright. On a blind tasting I’m not sure if Octoberfest would come first as the style intended. The encroaching staleness doesn’t help either. For another offering from the Florida Beer Company, it’s typically average.
