2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 radioseer (296) - Virginia, USA - AUG 19, 2011(12 ounce bottle - shaker glass) Pours an amber color with a head that disapates fast. Taste has a boozy character and has a citrus hops character too. I would much rather have a dogfish head 90min ipa than this.

355ml bottle from a publix in Kissimmee Florida. Deep golden, small white head. Drinks like a under hopped blonde barley wine. This would need quadruple the hopping to make it into IIPA territory. Fine as an ASA or American barley wine. FLVC2 #18

12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of a lot of dough and bread and pale malts and some floral hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. It’s like a double IPA where they only doubled the malts, and forgot to alter the amount of hops.

This is a malt bomb to me. Not a lot of hop to support all of that caramel malt flavor. Good marketing. Could not resist swamp ape in the store.

Bottle to snifter (shared with the Mrs.; thanks burg326). Looks solid; a transparent orange with off-white head that dissipates into lacing fairly quickly. Smells and tastes caramel malt and booze with some hops in there too. A malt bomb of a DIPA.

Pours an amber cooper color, on tap at Tampa Bay Brewing, Coral Springs , with a nice frothy head. Sweet citrusy aroma. Taste is bitter with the alcohol up front, subdued citrus and pine. Finished bitterly with very little sweetness.
Have had better DIPAs. Quaff Score 6 / 10
3.6 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Furseth (1866) - Kungälv, SWEDEN - APR 21, 2013
Bottle: Thanx to Mr.Rask! Clear red colour, nice creamy head. Aroma has citrus, orange and sweet maltynes. Flavor had a little BOMB! of fruits and flowery mouthfeeling, some orange and and brown sugar was there to, medium body, medium fruity finish. Nice!!
2.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 11/20 Marheb (1166) - Montréal, Quebec, CANADA - APR 17, 2013
L’arôme est vraiment pas excitante, butterscotch et orange très mures. En bouche c’est fidel au nez avec une amertume tranquille.
3.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 crossovert (4548) - Wisconsin, USA - APR 7, 2013
Lol good marketeing. Pours a golden amber with a big white head. Smell is caramel malt, piney hops, but not big and bold. Flavor is okay. It is boozy and alcoholic with a medium hop bitterness that is piney and citrus rindy. The up front flavor is grapefruit and caramel. Bit too much caramel malt in this one but not terrible.
3.5 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20 Garbageman (353) - Lexington, South Carolina, USA - APR 7, 2013
From bottle. Pours a deep golden/amber color with a slight haze and little head. Aroma was mild and was citrus hops and sweet malt. Taste followed with a warm booze ending. Needs more hop nose upfront.
