3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Bottle into snifter glass. Golden-amber color with off-white head. Aroma of herbal hops, some citrus to it, and sweet malt mostly. Taste seems to be mostly caramel malt sweetness backed with some citrus/piney hop flavor. Heavy body, low carbonation, sweet, boozy, soft with only a slight bitter finish. I thought maybe I bought a DIPA oldie but reading other reviews Iím not the only one who found this to be a unpleasant malt bomb. I guess thanks for my worst DIPA yet Florida Beer?

3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20
Clear amber colored pour. Small white head. Some lacing. Nice hoppy aroma with orange and malt notes. Taste is much of the same. A nice bitterness mixed with a big malt backbone. A slight sweetness mixed in. Very nice.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
Not finding this nearly as bad as the ratings suggest, but then again I just got back from two weeks of Colombian beer. Pours pale yellow or orange with some lacing, no head. Aroma of pine and malt, some booze. Balance is decent as well, but overall this is light for style. Bitter finish. Tap at tap42. Hope I catch my connecting flight.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear amber with an eggshell head and decent lacing. Very slight aroma of biscuit, caramel and citrus. The taste is horrible. I get tons of metal and an inappropriate catastrophe of spicy and malty flavors. Medium bodied. Drain pour.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
355ml bottle from a publix in Kissimmee Florida. Deep golden, small white head. Drinks like a under hopped blonde barley wine. This would need quadruple the hopping to make it into IIPA territory. Fine as an ASA or American barley wine. FLVC2 #18

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
12oz bottle in a tulip. Pours amber with a lacy, off-white head. Aroma of a lot of dough and bread and pale malts and some floral hops. Flavor the same. Average texture. Itís like a double IPA where they only doubled the malts, and forgot to alter the amount of hops.

This is a malt bomb to me. Not a lot of hop to support all of that caramel malt flavor. Good marketing. Could not resist swamp ape in the store.
