4.7 AROMA 9/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 19/20 brent1989 (9) - USA - MAR 21, 2012 does not count
Fresh bottle from Publix in Viera, FL. Taste is incredibly smooth for the ABV, strong hop flavor. Sneaky strong beer. Look forward to every trip to Florida so that I can stock up on this again!

Bottle: I´m confused! This beer is GREAT? Why the low ratings? Please write. Extremely complex, full hop character, great aroma, profile continously changes, finish is awesome. Loved it. Food Pairing: Margarita Pizza.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 dimenhetfield (2354) - , Florida, USA - APR 13, 2011
Bottle at Coffee District. Dark amber color with a thin bubbly head. Aroma is pretty much hoppy, earthy, and piney. Flavor has a good hop presence with a solid malt back. The malt makes this beer a little sweet, probably a little to sweet for my liking. A solid beer non the less.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 5/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Itzjerm (578) - Taft, Tennessee, USA - OCT 15, 2012
Lasting head on this clear beer. Light hop aroma for a sweet smell, before you taste the sweet ipa. Like many High gravity IPA, very sweet. Not balanced, on the sweet side, but not a bad beer. Drinkable, enjoyable. Top notch.
3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 Finhead (914) - OFallon, Illinois, USA - AUG 27, 2012
Clear, orange-copper with a small white head. It has a hoppy citrus aroma that matches the hoppy bittersweet taste. The medium body has a slick, oily texture with average carbonation. There is some alcohol warmth in the smooth finish.
3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Davhgbrew (445) - Boca Raton, Florida, USA - FEB 28, 2013
Potent hoppy aroma, poured a nice dark amber color with a thick off white head. This brew is very full bodied and smooth. Nice citrus and honey mixed with the bitter hops. Very well balanced and enjoyable IPA. I am pleasantly surprised
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20 haukur (1009) - Reykjavik, ICELAND - JUN 12, 2011
did not see any abv on the bottle, thought I was going to sample a regular IPA. This one is HUGE. Aroma is very grassy, almost smelling a new cut lawn. Bit thin on the palate but nice hop bite. Not very complex but a good brew nonetheless
3.8 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 16/20 KingCecil (1806) - DENMARK - NOV 23, 2010
Fra fad, dufter dejligt af blomst, flot gylden med hvidt skum, smager frisk med en lidt bitter eftersmag, dejlig fylde, ialt en super dejlig Imperial IPA
3.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 9/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 rivertranced (25) - Denver, Colorado, USA - FEB 13, 2012
I’m going to disagree with a lot of other peeps and say that this is a really interesting beer, very worth trying. I had a fresh bottle, poured into pint glass. Had a solid head, which retained well. Very little traditional IPA hop-bomb aroma, but does carry a hint of what’s to come. The flavor is where things really get interesting. I don’t think it comes from the tettnang, but I think they may smoke their malts, which lends a really interesting character. Not like any of the west coast IPAs I’m more used to, and I appreciate it for that reason.

In bottle. Pours a dark golden colour with a fair white head. A musty, herbal aroma with caramel, lemon and white pepper. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation, light CO2 prickle and an oily mouth-feel. Quite bitter with a long alcohol hum. I like this.
