3.9 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 dimenhetfield (1742) - , USA - APR 13, 2011
Bottle at Coffee District. Dark amber color with a thin bubbly head. Aroma is pretty much hoppy, earthy, and piney. Flavor has a good hop presence with a solid malt back. The malt makes this beer a little sweet, probably a little to sweet for my liking. A solid beer non the less.
2.6 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 rugbydude05 (471) - Bridgewater, NJ, New Jersey, USA - MAY 19, 2012
12 oz bottle, deep golden color, above average head, aroma is sweet and malty, very little hoppiness or floral aroma present for an IPA. Taste is initially sweet and caramelly that turns more bitter. Body is average, not active on the palate, long astringent aftertaste. High alcohol content very evident. Was expecting better but overall very average beer.

Tap. Very slightly hazy orange pour with a small clingy white head. Syrupy palate. Nose and taste is pine resin and sticky citrus.
3.8 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20 Benjii (2410) - Edinburgh, SCOTLAND - APR 13, 2012
In bottle. Pours a dark golden colour with a fair white head. A musty, herbal aroma with caramel, lemon and white pepper. Similar flavours with moderate carbonation, light CO2 prickle and an oily mouth-feel. Quite bitter with a long alcohol hum. I like this.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20 ben4321 (2227) - Hoboken, New Jersey, USA - APR 12, 2012
Location: 12 oz bottle from State Line, 4/12/12
Aroma: The nose has some citrus fruit hops, caramel, herbal notes, and a little soap
Appearance: It pours a clear orange color with a light foam of white head and sporadic lace
Flavor: Tastes lightly sweet with a lingering mid-plus bitterness and like the nose a bit of soap
Palate: The body is medium, with a decent amount of warming alcohol, and a lengthy, dry finish
Overall Impression:
This one wasn’t a great IIPA. There were the makings of a decent beer here, but there wasn’t enough of a flavorful hop punch. Instead, I got a dry, but lacking, bitterness and a little bit of soap. At 10%, with some heat, it isn’t particularly drinkable either. For me, this is not close to the top of a great style.

This is decent stuff. Not as hoppy as other IPAs, and good citrus flavors. Got it at Publix.
3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 14/20 pari6819 (54) - Florida, USA - APR 7, 2012
Lots of yeast and pine in this. The citrus aspect is in here, but I feel like it is predominated by a metallic like taste. I don’t care for some of the carmel like notes I get from this.
