Pretty soda taste wise - probably as well production-wise - sampled draft @ Delirium - brightest imaginable TL-lamp green, ectoplasma, white head - smell like some kind of lime soda, dishwashing liquid, lime extract - basically huge sweet lime soda extract type of flavour - little else - average bodied - would pick this over Coca-Cola - it is not bad, rather enjoyable actually, this is at most an alcopop - mot even by my stretchable definitions a beer

Tap @ Delerium. Clear light green colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour of lemon and cactus.

Prickly pear version in this series of overtly sweetened beers and one of very few actually green beers I tasted so far. Snow white head, colour an almost ’toxic’ looking grass green, hazy; sweet aroma with sourish notes, reminiscent of a lemon-based lemonade, which goes for the taste as well. Very odd and way too artificial.

Sample @Festival der Belgische bieren. Pours bright golden with adhesive white head. Metallic, light fruity aroma. Taste is fruity, lime. Metalluc finish.

On tap @ Delirium Taphouse A: Green pear color and relatively hazy. Two fingers of fine white foam falls to a sheet of the same. Spotty lacing. S: Soapy, floral, citrusy (lime). Really refreshing nose here, light and fun. Although simple, it hits the right notes with good intensity. T: Follows smell. Sweet lime flavors, some floral notes (not sure, just general blossoming tones). A little sweeter than I had anticipated and I was surprised to have no vegetal flavors in this one. Very nice. M: Medium to syrupy with fine pinching carbonation. Finishes with a slickness similar to the slime from actually eating canned cactus - although not particularly appealing, definitely cool for the beer. O: I thought this was a really fun beer. Easy to drink and low in ABV made this beer fun to experience and easy to appreciate. This would hit the spot on a really warm day in the summer. Serving type: on-tap 06-20-2011

Keg at the Rake. It pours a hazy light green color with a medium white head. Aroma is sweet, candies, chemical, odd. Taste is very sweet and grassy, chemical, disgusting. A horrible beverage for sure.

(Draught at Little Delirium Café, Brussels, 26 Oct) Pale green colour with brief, white head. Fruity, perfumy nose with notes of lime, cactus and herbs. Fruity, wheaty taste with lime and cactus. Medium body, quite sweet, no bitterness. Sweet lime scented washing-up liquid. As a soft drink, fairly drinkable, but as a beer more questionable.

draft @ delirium pours light green , very small white foam . smell is fresh and reminding of soda ok carbo sharp , refreshing, but perhaps a bit ( ? ! ) over the top on the cactus . i do not taste any ’beer’ anymore .. wich is sad

No corpo, quasi acquosa, esageratamente carbonata. finale appiccicoso e astringente.

Strange but nice. Did not taste much as cactus but was sour and nice to drink. Green features.
